All is Calm - Eric Buchaus / by Dan Baumer

I wish the sea were not so wide
That parts me from my love,
I wish the things men do below
Were known to God above.

- Patrick MacGill, London Irish Regiment

Eric Buchaus is humbled and excited to make his theatrical debut in this amazing show at the Playhouse. Eric has been sharing his love of singing for many years. He has been in countless vocal ensembles from Madrigal groups to quartets and show choirs. Since moving from Chicago just over two years ago he has been a Board and performing member of the award winning International chorus, The Marcsmen. When he is not singing and performing with the Marcsmen, he is a Business Development Consultant at Rackspace.

He would like to thank his wife, Shelley, for holding down the fort and semi-accepting the beard. Special thanks to his daughter Karlyn, an aspiring actress in her own right for helping with his accents and line memorization tips.

All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 runs Dec 2 - 18 in the Russell Hill Rogers Theater. Co-Directed by George Green and Bill Gundry, this show is a co-production with The Marcsmen and is proudly presented in partnership with Valero Energy.
