All is Calm - John Towry / by Dan Baumer

The heavy rain has almost flooded the trenches, particularly in the neighborhood of Ploegsteert. The Germans are suffering as much as we are! The men in the trenches say the Saxons call across to them and say they 'have had enough of it!

- General Sir John French, British Expeditionary Force

John Towry is making his theatrical debut at The Playhouse and is deeply honored to share this moving story of peace during a time of war. He has performed in a variety of high school, college, community, church, and barbershop vocal ensembles in Alabama, Germany, Georgia, South Carolina, Illinois, and Texas. He is a 12-year member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a member of The Marcsmen chorus, and a proud US Army Retired Warrant Officer. John thanks his wife, Gretchen, for her support of his passion for singing and entertaining audiences.
